What did he charge for his first batch and do you know what his idea is for his next watch in terms of movement and functions?

He runs a good community and an opt-in Channel where he talks about his on-going development. €14,500 net for the HTH

I assumed that he was using a base module and it was ebauched.

There's no shame in this, many movements use that watch's layout and basic components. Notice the similarities - 1. location of winding (mainspring) gears 2. jewels 3. case screws 4. balance 5. release for the stem Notice the differences - 6. type of ratc...  

that’s the one. Unitas 6498. It would be hard to believe otherwise.

Beautiful watch. It looks quite legible even though the hands and dial are of the same colour.

And it's great that you have a hometown connection with the maker, making it extra special for you 👍

FP is really great. I had the chance to order a bespoke piece from him a few years ago. I stupidly sold it somewhat impulsively ...  

He really references that old school watch making style, but in a modern and understated case and dial design. It would be so easy to go overboard with decorative techniques and design cues that reference an older style, but he keeps it balanced.
