Congrats, Gary!

It's a fantastic piece and one of Richard's signature complications IMO.  To my mind the Habring2s to own are this doppel, the jump seconds foudroyante, and the tourbillon.

Enjoy your new beauty!

Cheers,
Daos

An arrival from Austria...

 By: Gary G : May 25th, 2012-14:07
A happy day yesterday, with the arrival of a new piece from Austria via San Diego... As usual, the first step is to assemble the ceremonial watch opening rug and William Henry box opener: Very clever internal packaging -- certainly keeps the watch isolate...

Gary...

CONGRATULATIONS! You just patronised (is that the correct term?) one of the most exciting watches (and makers) currently. I hope ( and I am sure) you'll enjoy that watch very much! Cheers, Magnus

Thanks, Magnus!

How I long to see those words again ... Actually, I was really intrigued when I saw that internal packing for the first time. Even kept the packing for a week or two to see if I could use it for something else. Congratulations. Its a beautiful watch. Rega...

Thanks, Richard

Perhaps you will be getting another piece sometime soon! I am definitely keeping that shipping box, as it will come in handy for a future watch sale, I am sure. Best, Gary

I see you've also fallen victim to Monsieur Busser's M.A.D. Gallery. As I told Max recently, I took a look and ended up buying a few of the Bohm Stirling engines. Regards, Richard.

Now all I need

...that I lack carpet expertise! Definitely Persian in origin, but otherwise I do not know -- I'll go back through various folders and see whether I can find the documentation. Best, Gary
