Nienaber is a very inventive fellow. I like a lot of what I've seen by him.

I enjoy the placement of the fractional numbers and the absence of any numbers or markings for the hours. You can easily read the time off of it. But have you seen his decimal watches?

... which are Roman numerals for the upper and Arabian numerals for the lower half. But the contrast of the golden numerals on the silver base is a bit faint. Here is a picture of another version, which does not have a minute hand, but a minute disc rotat...
