Rainer Nienaber pays tribute to the classic way of showing time, when minutes were not dictating our life: The large hand shows 24 hours, the short hand is good enough for quarter hours. This is how our tower clocks displayed the time, until their configuration was changed to the "modern" display with the long minutes hand:

I enjoy the placement of the fractional numbers and the absence of any numbers or markings for the hours. You can easily read the time off of it. But have you seen his decimal watches?
