One needs big pockets for this one, literally and figuratively. The UR-1001. Seconds, minutes, hours, day/night, date, month, years. Note the annual calendar using Urwerk’s signature satellite. The back, which I don’t have a picture of, shows running time...

The only thing that would make it crazier is if they made a case and strap so that you can wear it like a wristwatch. Oh wait.......

Would make a great desk clock...if ever I decide to own an “Indy” watch it will unquestionably be an Urwerk!

I think one needs some serious tattoos and street style to carry this one. None of this safari jacket stuff for this one.

And god forbid you wanted to keep it in the pocket of a loose trouser; they’d be around your ankles in no time! (I guess that’s why gentlemen keep their pocket watches in a jacket pocket!)

It was also fairly substantial in terms of weight in the hand.

It’s not exactly something you see sitting in a case somewhere. I believe (and I could be wrong) that it was there that day only as Felix was in town.

Fascinating and ... irritating. Like it a lot. But I am not sure if you should wear it in tails with top hat at the Viennese Opera Ball. Best Thomas
