In fact, I have been saving like a squirrel for Opus 3 since I began this post in 2003. Meaning...I put off buying lots of stuff. OK..well..I did buy some stuff...but compared to most real collectors...I came to almost ZERO buying from 2004.

The Z1..many did not hold on..and now..it is so rare. At one time, people were selling it. I think that it will be one of the really usable, tough, and maintenance free pieces that are always interesting at gatherings. I see TONS and TONS of Lange and Pat... 

If you can...come to KL with the gang on the 9th! Max, PSM, and probably a few others will be there from 9th to 13th. It is not as crowded as Basel. On another note...I will organise a get together for us all in Singapore when you are here. Let SJX know.....

made me look at Eiffel's project and read about it. I have since been several times to the Tower, and have examined many parts of it, feeling it with my hands. It is large, and feeling it still works like the same way I always feel watches with my hands. ... 

Sounds absurd, but Erika Le Tour Eiffel married the tower. Perhaps your specialty as a doctor could help explain that strange convergence of metal and woman? Sometimes we get perilously close to loving these watches ... I'll refrain from trying to post a ... 

I came across this in 2004 or so...I have collected almost all of his work. Incredible. Disturbing. Totally invigorating! I must google this Eiffel woman.
