I sure felt it needed a contrasting color, so why not orange!
After all, orange makes for a wonderful 'false color' that scientists have long chosen to color astronomical images with to depict high frequency radio waves, or gases like hydrogen . Not to mention it's my personal favorite strong color!

and others here to share your designs when you eventually receive them! I get childishly excited when I explore various, imaginative combinations that can create totally unique aesthetics on such a cool canvas . If I had the disposable income, I'd get one...

Great analogy, Stepan is a genuine artist in my opinion.
And I still love all the everlasting classics of watch design, but it's great to have something unconventional and original, that's still 'civilized' as you say in the 'arsenal' ....
