BaselWorld 2015 - Speake-Marin

For BaselWorld 2015 the Speake-Marin collection has been expanded by their first womans model.  The delicately curved case houses a quartz movement.  The case is unfortunately relatively thick, but as you can see it fits very well on a feminine wrist.

Next we see the double tourbillon Equilibreur de Marche.  The time from the two tourbillons is averaged with a differential.  The archs above and below the dial show the power reserve and day/night respectively.  A little over the top, but very handsome on the wrist.

The second in the Mechanical Art series, the Jumping Hours has 4 hour hands.  Arranged at 12, 3, 6 and 9 they each show the correct hour after the minute hand has passed over them.  Fun and good looking.

The Velsheda single hand watch, with the seconds indication in the center.

A Resilience, simply handsome.

The Spirit Seafire chronograph.

The Spirit Wing Commander with big date and power reserve indications.

Don Thanks for the update. I was puzzled by the Jumping Hour. You said each of the 4 hour hands jumps to show the hour after the minute hand passes over them. Is there no zero for the minutehand? Or does its zero change to the position of the relevant han...

It's easy...

The hour hand at 12 is like every other jumping hour you have ever seen. The hour hand at 3 jumps to the correct hour at h+15 minutes The hour hand at 6 jumps at h+30 minutes The hour hand at 9 jumps at h+45 minutes. Don
