Dear all, Just wanted to share this piece (not mine, yet, but am seriously considering pulling the trigger on this one) Haven’t really seen many of these around since it’s launch in 2014! This particular one is in yellow gold! Would love to hear some comm...

Looks like a stunner. I don’t see many of these around. What’s making you hesitate to take the plunge?

For starters I usually wear my watches on my right as I’m left handed! Thus this might take some getting used to.. Then well essentially it’s a db28 digitale in a different case for more than twice the price..thinking if the difference in case work would ... 

The lack of significant complication and no transparent case back leaves me a bit cold. I'd also be terrified of scratching/denting the case. As others have said though, there's nothing else like it and I don't think you can't go wrong either way!

But not in gold.

Whoa, what a spce ship... Personally, I am with brauner here and would prefer a Pt or Ti version of this watch. If gold is what makes you smile, go for it! I mean, with a piece like this there are no real alternatives to consider... Best, Daniel

As a long time fan and collector of the Indies(mb&f, FPJ, VH etc), I’m just thinking if this would give less ‘value-add’ to my collection than say a PP comp! World of difference I know..but just a dilemma I’m having!

I'd say the fun you get from a DB5 will be one of a kind, while a PP complication is more of "another great watch" kind of thing. Not to say that one is better than the other, but it's two different things. Of course, if your drawer is full of MB&Fs, Urwe...

a watch, at least in the looks, so quite fitting for a woman imho. Although this watch is not small, it looks no way too big on your wrist. I like your ring, btw.

I have tried it on the wrist when I visit DB a few years ago . Such a amazing and spectacular watch .

My thoughts What a futuristic object is it? A watch that is 10 centuries ahead of what we know today! Other thoughts. MBandF is another creator of strange objects for the wrist.

It is an amazingly unique and awesome watch!! altho, it would be cool if you got one of the artist varients, like this one! ...

Not too long ago I shared the recent version of this watch whose case was done up in a Dia De Los Muertos style. I thought that watch was cool, but if it were me I would elect to choose a cleaner version such as this. I would LOVE to see this watch around... 

There’s a real warm beauty to this watch and, like the finest aerodynamic luxury cars of the pre-war period, if feels as though it belongs to a future imagined one lifetime ago, a future that never quite came to be.

I did end up taking this beast back home! And I must say I’m loving every minute of it! Here’s it on my wrist today! ...
