Massena LAB have just launched the U1-ML6. The watch has been designed as a classic dive watch from the 1950s and is depth rated at 300m and uses a Seiko NH35A movement. The case is 41.5mm. The interesting part is that the lume has been applied by hand on...

characterful watches if a bit thick. But this one, that lume is troublesome. Otherwise, nice enough and an interesting concept, to me.

Can you say anymore about why you don’t like the lume ?

It is what seems to be the "puffiness" to match aged lume. As you said, though, interesting project and I did seriously consider it when I got the email.

Is part of the design strategy. Collectors will either love it or loath it. Thanks again.

and I'm sure photographs don't do it justice. In any case, enough loved it for it to be sold out so quickly!
