One watch for every occasion

 By: rnaden : December 30th, 2020-01:46
This seems to fit the bill for me. Haven’t changed it out since it arrived ten days ago and that’s longer than any other watch so far. And I still don’t have the urge to swap it out for anything else. Simple can be great, especially one that goes under th...

Very nice !

Well done on a great acquisition Richard!

Dornbluth is a hidden gem among the German watchmakers.

Thanks, my friend.

It is a very nice watch, and dealing with the folks at Dornbluth is what every watch buying experience should be. They're so helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Agreed!

The purchasing experience for me is as important as the product itself especially when we are spoiled for choice these days.,

That’s the truth

I’ve been staring at this particular models for weeks now.

 By: Lankysudanese : December 30th, 2020-03:44
How does it wear/sit? Any idea what the lug-to-lug width is? And I’m gonna have to bug you about it’s chronometry accuracy. It seems to be an amazing amazing watch. Congrats! Hussam

It wears very well

 By: rnaden : December 30th, 2020-05:30
I would be preferred a little thinner, but at 10mm thickness, it works very well, and as you can see, it sits comfortably on my 6.75 inch wrist. Lug to lug is 50mm. As for chronometric performance - it's gained a little under 2 seconds over 10 days, which...

Wow 2 sec in 10 days is impressive by any measures.

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : December 30th, 2020-06:16

Thanks. Yes, it is 40mm

 By: rnaden : December 30th, 2020-08:53
My smallish wrist finds anything above 40 to be a real challenge, especially when the lugs are long

That’s super-impressive, and ...

most unexpected, to be honest. I’d gladly trade the thickness to get that impressive depth that you’ve captured in your photo.

Must be a pandemic!

Congrats! A dream watch of mine.

Did you have any special executions on your watch? Are the numbers printed or applied? Again, my congratulations. Wear it in the best of health in 2021 (and forever). -John

It’s probably the ceramic dial with pantograph inscribed engraving

 By: Lankysudanese : December 30th, 2020-08:19
. For a small manufacture, their movements and dials are ‘next level’

Just the ceramic dial

And engraving of the initials of my immediate family members on the movement. This is the part that makes this watch a special watch as opposed to being “just another nice watch”

Such a lovely watch...hoping to get one eventually

You won’t regret it.

This is nice to look at, from the front and the back, and the pleasure of working with the Dornbluth team starts at the point of just putting in an enquiry

How long does it take from inquiry to the watch being ready?

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : December 30th, 2020-09:12
3 months?

Depends on the level of customization

 By: rnaden : December 30th, 2020-16:33
Mine took a little over 4 months.

I think this will be my choice as well

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : December 31st, 2020-05:14

I’d be keen to know

 By: rnaden : December 31st, 2020-08:04
I would have preferred the case at 38.5 with the 2010 movement, but didn’t want an “empty” looking case back, plus the thickness was going to be the same for the 38.5 or 40mm.

Excellent choice,

Huge Congrats and enjoy it as much as possible.

Thank you

I am certain I will
