But the microrotor is so beautiful. I went with the Origin, because when I saw the watch I knew I had to have it.
Either way, you won't go wrong!

Laurent Ferrier Advice

Hey everyone! I have decided my next watch will be a Laurent Ferrier, however am struggling to decide which model to select. I’ve been through wrist shots over and over again, however it’s really hard to decide which one to go for. I’ve narrowed down the ...

I consider LF micro-rotor as one of the best micro rotor movements from any manufacturer...

so if it is your first LF & you don't see yourself buying a second LF - then go for the Micro-rotor version (whichever dial variation you prefer). Best, Mahesh., ...

Thanks Mahesh

I will check out the Micro-Rotor versions!

I was also in this perdicament (chose the ice blue)

I love the origin, but imho the micro rotor movement is a must if you are going to have only one LF.

Thanks!

I think the micro-rotor offers more from a movement perspective, but aesthetically I’m not sure if like the colour options…

My point of view since you ask…

Whatever decision you will take it will be a good choice as both are superbly finished and cool. However a different approach imho: - the Classic with micro rotor is a bit more dressy even if really versatile. And the movement is more sophisticated and re...

I’m torn between the two. I don’t have any smaller brand watches, I’ve only ever had PP, AP and Rolex. Starting to get fed up with the way ADs are treating me. I’m interested in watches and this new watch flipping world we live in has really taken the joy...

The manual winding feel on it is *sublime*

I almost even want to tell you NOT to get this as your first manually wound watch, since I think it's hard to appreciate just how gorgeous the LF winding feel is when you haven't been around the block a few times before!

Same thoughts here

You give up a lot of movement gorgeousness... but get what to me is an overall more strongly appealing watch!

It’s interesting to see a real divergence of opinions here, which is a reminder that each person must determine what appeals most to themself.

That said, I’ve always thought that the LF micro rotor movement was one of the best micro rotor movements available. While I’m sure the manual wind is a fine movement, if I had to choose one, the micro rotor would be my clear choice. I also prefer the rou...

Micro-Rotor FTW ...

I tend to agree with mahesh and others

For the only, or first, LF I think it should be the micro rotor. I do love the Origin, but I would hate to get an LF and not have this incredible movement inside. ...
