I really think you would love this one to have in the mix with the Air King and your Reverso, as I do with mine!

Why thank you much

Thanks for the very thorough and thoughtful review of a wonderful watch. I am very seriously considering one myself, the subject of another recent thread.

I came to the site tonight to respond to your thread, but found this one first :)

I was tempted by one which came up prior to the opaline, and still may have to do it down the line some day! I am known to go for two of a kind sometimes, eek!

Love mine as well!

Brilliant piece. I have said, the shapes and finishing on the case and dial, and the the little nuances really only go noticed when on the wrist. I wonder how production is at LF. I had read once 500 or so watches a year. It seems this may be going up? St...

That was from a hodinkee article in 2013 though🤣 Lovely watch! I keep thinking to add a micro rotor but just doesn't fit in my collection yet. For reference my watch was from end of last year and movement number was 170 earlier and it's only March.

The micro rotor movement is truly incredible

And I have it on good authority that if you ask nicely they will even customize a piece, here and there

What a piece there!

WHAT a dial!!! The quality of the dial and hands, really the whole watch, that LF produces, is really something to behold.

I think it is in the low hundreds these days

Very well said in all respects. I love all my watches equally, but I love this one the most. I remember exactly when and where I was when I first saw this watch, that has never happened before or since. Mine says hello! ...

Thank you!

Love to see that in face a good # of members here in fact do appreciate this brand and this piece so greatly!

additional movement screw

I noticed on LF's own website by comparing different pictures, that at some point an additional screw was added to the movement. You can see it on yours at about 2:30 on the back side. Compare that to earlier versions like mine. I wonder why that is! ...

Interesting!

I always wondered what the depression on that same plate at the 9 o'clock by the crown is.

Huh !
