It took me two years of thought to jump into this Independent world. My first entry is the PSM Resilience 42mm picked up from the dealer in Kuala Lumpur this week. The enamel dial is stellar... ...

The 'foundation' watch, however, had violet hands rather than blue. GaryG commissioned a Shimoda with a hand to match the colour of the hands on the PSM foundation watch; here are the two colours side by side (although Gary does a much better job of captu...  

From experience I can say that it's not easy to get a good photo of that violet hue -- but in person it's unmistakable and a clear linkage to the original Foundation Watch that goes beyond the shape of the hands themselves. Great piece! Best, Gary G

I did not on this occasion, but I met him at a dinner hosted by the AD a few years ago. Sent from my iPad On 30 Mar, 2013, at 0:48,
