Zodiac Hermetic Aerospace Jet

While all the news about the Novelties from Geneva this year are pouring in I thought I should share a pair of vintage watches I got to see.

Last week I got together with one of my local watch friends here in Stockholm. As always, we had a great time sharing a nice meal and discussing watches.

Two of the watches he showed were new to me, Zodiac Hermetic Aerospace Jet.

I know very little about these, but really got charmed by the 24 hours dial!

If I understand correctly, these are from the early 70’s. The model has been around from the early 60’s but one detail that differs is that on the earlier it said “Jet Aeronaut” instead of “Aerospace Jet”.

I find these very charming!

The only 24 hours dial I have is the LeCoultre Quartermaster from 1958…

Do you have any 24 hours dial to share?

Best

of vintage watches, I like the white dial. The only 24 hour display watch I have is the modern GP Richeville Night/Day. CC

Thank you, CC!

Yes, there are a lot of hidden gems in the vintage area... Why not share the joy here in the HoMe and show us your beautiful Richeville?! :) Best, my friend Blomman

Ok, you asked for it...

That is such a beautiful watch, it deserves to be shared here in the HoMe as well! :) Best Blomman

I love this watch but everytime I look at it I think "Where's the other hand?"

I haven't mentally adapted to the rotating 2nd ring. I guess I have to put on my and pretend the hour hand is removed ... This is saying 7:10 but I still get confused Hence I have only shopped for this watch, and never bought it. A bit like a regulator w...

I just wonder ...
