It's an interesting choice for a complication from Journe. Worldtimers are my least favorite complication, and I don't usually travel for work so UTC/GMT watches are not necessary in my life, but it's nice to see FPJ's take on it. Cheers, Daos

You are absolutely right when you say all his watches look better on the wrist then pictures. I've also learned never to doubt Journe's artistic eye. I'm sure earth display will be wonderful. Anticipation is building!

Appreciate the complication but from the illustration I’m not sure the earth display fits in the dial design…. …its a bit of an eye sore. Maybe it’ll look better in person ?? Drew

it's the Contrast that kills it. maybe if the Earth had a Grey Color , it would've blended more in Harmony with the rest of the Dial and won't Stand Out as a result.. but to each his own. i'm sure some Folks would love it.

But the looks and dial, most are having some issues. Me too actually. Perhaps Journe can create as an option for those who dislike the globe, to crate one that is in different shades of grey to black, instead of a colorful one. Anyway, it's Journe, there ...

but i dont like it.. in general i wouldnt ever give up an AP for a journe... this one just makes me not want a journe even more.. it feels like the guys that were coming up with the idea were playing around with photoshop and this, by some freak accident,... 

It is a nice complication no doubt but the colourful globe spoils it IMO. Really need to see it in person though. Would probably be better if the globe is in shades of black as suggested by Tony & Horo. Goh

Unfortunately, the text of the press release is a bit difficult to understand. However, it seems clear that there is only one corrective pusher for setting the local time, and also the crown position 2 for changing the globe is working only in one directi... 

at the 2nd crown position, if you turn the crown in one direction, it changes the date like other Octa watches. If you turn the crown in the other direction, it changes the local time backwards only. I think the final version of the watch may need and may... 

... so it is possible to adapt the time and date backwards, at least via a "workaround". Marcus
