Following JLC announcement early this year.......I think Cartier offer 8 years too (i'm not sure though)


now IWC announce 8 years warranty !

Which brand do you think will break first into 10 years Warranty Period....

They're going to roll this 8-year standard to all their brands eventually when it makes fiscal sense and when each maison is ready to take on the increased workload. As for a 10-year warranty, I think the Swatch Group brands (Omega, Breguet, Blancpain, et...

I think Rolex is the first company with 10 yrs. They were early adopters with the current policy and Rolex watches are broadly speaking less complex because they only have so many complications in their lineup.

This is an engineering issue and they seem to have the most muscle in this area. I would also like to add Seiko, but the Japs are quite conservative with their claims. So even if they can do it they most likely won't be the first to announce.
