Hello Purists, (Quite new to this forum posting thing) Just thought I'd introduce myself, my name is Rob and I'm based in Manila / Singapore. Been collecting watches since 2004 or so, and while I'm a newly registered member on this forum, I've been lurkin...

Yes, I was deciding between this steel Pioneer or the more classic Endeavour. But what sealed the deal was the news that they will be releasing a steel bracelet for this model. (a must for hot / humid tropics where I live.)

The QP is very well chosen. In my opinion a masterpiece that doesnt recieve as much attention as some other pieces. I will do something about that in the future

Read many of your posts in the past, as part of my collection started out with Seiko! (And I still feel they are one of the best vertically manufactured brands from all the lines) glad to be here! And yes’ fully agree with Watch years... Awesome flightmas... 

It came new with the bracelet but since I didn’t have a sizing tool at work, I put on the strap temporarily, so I could wear it immediately. Here it is 13 years later and still on that strap ...

With a Moser you made a flying start into this place. One of five manufacturers that make in-house balance springs, which I find is the key aspect of watchmaking. Best Moritz
