Horological Meandering

UPDATE: SpidoSpeed pics included.

My initial observations...

The SpidosSpeed is beautifully crafted both fit and finish. The design is amazing and the movement (highly decorated and finished Valjoux 7750) visible through the exhibition caseback is beautiful.

I am still disappointed that LW changed the chrono pushers. I think they could have just made the original 'pedal' shaped pushers taller and let them protrude from the case instead of adding the traditional type 'cam' shaped pushers onto the conceptual pushers. With that said, I understand why LW did it. It takes a good amount of pressure to press down the pushers given the tight seals to keep its 100M WR.

Another issue is that I found screwing the crown back down rather difficult given the tight tolerance between the crown and case.

Lastly, just an observation and not a knock is that winding the mechanism reminds me of winding a toy... has that unique whirling sound.

Here are some photos. I focused a lot on the pushers since that's the most 'controversial'.

Thanks.
