Update on my post about the Nomos Tangente datum.
So I went to see these watches at my AD who has a fairly good selection of the various dials.
The good news is that the colour of the date disc is matching the dial colour of the various creamy white variations.
The computer generated pictures on the Nomos website are suggesting a different shade of white as can be seen on the following picture.
Clearly a mistake from Nomos that could put off potential buyers.
The bad news however,and the deal breaker for me, is the absence of a quick date setting mechanism by the crown.
You can change the date by advancing the hour hand to 2 am and then going back to 10 pm ...and repeating this move.
I once had a watch with that feature and found it terribly annoying .
Other than that,the watches are very nice,have a good size and are fairly priced (the "Zirkus" was my favorite)...but I just could not live with that date changing mechanism.
I did however not leave the AD with empty hands ...but that is another story

That is annoying for sure...strange Nomos hasn't changed that. I did not know this.
