My watchmaker turnaround, even considering that he is very busy, is less than a month or else.
The only exception is when he (or me) needs to source parts overseas. Then we have our postal service that's very much 3rd world.
Back to the Breitling, I believe that I saw it with you during the "day of the coffee wash".
Beautiful watch by all counts.

Breitling Superocean Ref 1004 finally back home!
Two years and a half between the moment I gave it for a service and the moment I got it back! If this is not patience, I don't know what patience is. The movement needed a huge service, the dial has been cleaned, some work on the bezel, et voilà... A quic...
Your watch is just absolutely freakingly stunning.....
When I sent them my Breitling (below) I first got a letter from the Museum that they wanted to buy it (which I declined) and then it took as well more than a year, but the wait was wothwhile... ...
Those vintage Breitlings
are fantastic, especially when comparing them with their modern grandchildren.. Good old times!
