Rupert. My personal experiences - (1) a watch that came wrapped in factory plastic, I put it on the winder and a few months later, the dang thing just stopped. It went back for about 2-3 months and has been working well since (2) Didn't notice it but many months after I received a new watch, I by chance used a loupe and saw that the hour and minute hands were scratched where they are mounted on the center shaft. The best part was I brought it back to the AD and he graciously said 'we'll do it this time for you free'. It was still under warranty but it was horrendous quality control. I of course through the Purists discovered later that the 'blued' hands were not blue through heat but the old fashion paintbrush.
