Horological Meandering

Third day in a row wearing vintage…

33.5mm JLC today but oddly it’s in a gold plated case (I don’t think it’s gold filled, marked 382 near the back of one of the lugs) with snap on steel back. P800/C movement signed Jaeger LeCoultre, inside caseback signed LeCoultre, so I assume it was cased for the US market but I find it odd the dial would be signed Jaeger, not just LeCoultre, as most were marketed in the US.

In general I don’t like patina, especially on dials and this watch is no exception…the discoloration bothers me, so I don’t wear it often, yet for some reason I still like the watch overall.
