Some calibre may allow to set date to and fro of the hour hand from eight o'clock (2000 hr) to one o'clock (0100), which might be suggested by the instruction of some old manual.

 

Certainly, try to feel any odd pressure during this process.

Is there a movement which allows the date wheel to be turned anti-clockwise?

Hello Everyone Hope all of you are well, I was wondering if there is a movement out there that allows the date wheel to go clockwise and anti-clockwise, abit of a pain that sometimes while adjusting the date you go forward a day, only to have to go foward... 

My Rolex GMT allows...

position it would be useful to allow the date disc to move forward and backwards which I can't do on my ROO. S
