The Stowa is my current favourite...
despite it is just based on the humble Unitas 6498 being modified to run a center second hand. What I love about this movement is the huge screwed babance wheel and the swan neck regulator. There is no automatic rotor to block the view and the polishing and decoration is really not bad for a military tool watch at this price point.

the Unitas movement is indeed a strong and beautiful workhorse.
Other than that, its the Zenith El Primero...
beacause the movement is fully exposed and you can see almost everything. But it’s so complicated that I still can’t quite work out how it works even spending hours with a loupe. 🤣
I think it’s for fine tuning the rate of the hair spring...
hence the beat rate of the escapement when regulating the movement for better accuracy. I am no expert, so please some one chips in and correct me if I am wrong.

Actually that’s what I was experimenting with
I was trying to give these shots a warm moody feel. Yours is defintely more natural though. Thanks for the suggestion. I will keep experimenting on lighting. 👍
