Horological Meandering

Hi fellow PuristS! So, was out and about on a nice Friday with my partner and we thought we should have a look at the available-at-boutique-only LV watches. More specifically, the Escale Worldtime/Time Zone, as I am a big world time complication watch fan...  

What I love, and which is unique to this watch, is the way the time is displayed through the hours and minutes " hands " a bit like a vintage JLC Mystery / Galaxy. Now the dial is colorful, to say the least. It will please, or not, or the risk is that you... 

but my partner has the opposite sentiment: she thought the radiant colours to be too dazzling and cause it to be difficult to read. would definitely hope someone can share something interesting about the movement, especially when they claim it's a manufac... 

Love the creative approach and parade of colors, but somehow left me feeling indifferent. Perhaps the darkness to the dial muted the colors for me (not that this is a design mistake). I won\'t buy it, but if I had 20 watches this would be in it for its un... 

the rose gold piece was very radiant, and the grey, shimmery dial brought out the printed dial to its full character, which I was captivated by. Would be nice to have a chance to compare them side by side. I completely agree with you and Nico on the uniqu... 

and a different approach, which I do not understand why it is not more popular. GEO
