I think the lemania 2327 or the movement that served as the base for the patek ch 27-70q or the movement found in the vacheron constantin chronograph "les historiques" is a proven perfomer, it has been concepted in the forties and tested successfully with the speedmaster during nasa flights. Also a lemania 2327 or a 321 is much nicer than a valjoux 72 and more sturdy in terms of construction. Lemania has also built another legenday movement, the 5100 which was a truely heavy duty movement beating the crap of the 7750 for its instant dial legibility, extreme ruggedness and its reliability. Lemania is a proven very top the range movement manufacture above frederic piguet in terms of quality and craftsmanship.
