The great thing about blued hands ...
... on vintage pieces, like enamel dials, is that they look as good now as the day they were made. Of course the steel can still rust (and enamel dials can crack) but your example demonstrates the beauty contained within.

The blued titanium produces an amazingly vibrant colour, at least in the hands of DeBethune. I will revisit that topic shortly. Thanks for the suggestion! Andrew

... lovely blue color. They catch the light and emphasize the hands and the legibility - which is why I assume that steel was heat blued in the first place. Thanks for contributing Livius. Andrew

Breguet blue hands - I have always loved this watch
It appeals to the astronomer on me as well as the romantic and mechanical side. I have never handled one but I applaud your taste. It has some nice classical touches in the case, crown and dial numerals. Thanks for sharing it here. Andrew
