I ADORE heat-blued hands!
For me, heat-blued hands are the ultimately beautiful component on a watch's face.Especially wide hands, if possible domed, perfectly polished and of a wonderfully saturated, deep blue, this is what makes a watch perfect for me.
My personal favourites (of which I have none, unfortunately) for heat-blued hands are watches by De Bethune and earlier Dubuis.

The blued titanium produces an amazingly vibrant colour, at least in the hands of DeBethune. I will revisit that topic shortly. Thanks for the suggestion! Andrew
Which do you prefer?
That WG version looks stunning in these photographs. And it is very sensible chronograph display - never obscured by the hour and minute hands. Lovely watch. Andrew

... on vintage pieces, like enamel dials, is that they look as good now as the day they were made. Of course the steel can still rust (and enamel dials can crack) but your example demonstrates the beauty contained within. Thanks! Andrew

Breguet blue hands - I have always loved this watch
It appeals to the astronomer on me as well as the romantic and mechanical side. I have never handled one but I applaud your taste. It has some nice classical touches in the case, crown and dial numerals. Thanks for sharing it here. Andrew
