Girard Perregaux made the first wristwatches for Military before 1900, this is what the books say. I never saw ond of this watches, but may be it is true.
My WESTEND WATCH is true, now 100 years old and in this moment for a big movement restauration in Vienna. She was still working, but now ist time to preserve this great watch.
The face of this watch is the wonderful enemal dial with the red 12 in perfect condition, no chips, no cracks. The date-hand is not jumping. The case is the typical pocketwatch case with soldered lugs. My watch is the civilian version.
The last pic from a book shows the military version, also enamel dial, but with lumed numbers.
