The first thing that will be interesting...
will be to see if there has been any advancement in the last decades since the last trials where held.
Or are we just marching in place or maybe even have lost skills in the mean time.
What will we see as the movements for the trials, the very newest with silicon parts and the new escapements or more traditional?
I am very curious.
I would hope that a revival of trials on a regular basis could give the industry a kick to really make advances in chronometry again.
The industry is so busy selling jewelry right now that advancing chronometry is somehow off their targets, I think.

it's called an international event but seems to be open only to european countries. and why the limit on the size to 38mm if wristwatches are to be tested instead of pocketwatches to be more representative? Perhaps this may be an easy way out for those sp...
