Horological Meandering

The dial

I must say that I am unhappy that I have to give the watch back tomorrow.
It is a very good package, size, weight, fits comfortably on the arm... and the dial is really magnificent.
After the first weeks I am looking less at the repetative retrograde seconds, but the form, flow and surface treatments with polished angles surrounded by the clous de Paris of the dial keep me coming back.
The watch does lean to the flamboyant side, it is noticed by everyone who has even the tinyest interrest in watches (which is almost everyone here in Switzerland), but it is not blingy at all.
The design using elements of traditional movement decoration on the dial highlights the horological content.
Very successful, and a discussion starter.
