The dial is excellent. I like that the registers are period-specific and Baltic has resisted the temptation to enlarge them. The movement looks very nice too.

I'm not sure the watch works as a whole though. The case profile and thickness - while not a problem in other instances - doesn't quite work for me here. It's just a little too thick. Perhaps I've been looking at too many PP and Movado references from the 1940s...

This is an excellent example of a new vintage chronograph. Let's pretend the winning bidder decides to wear this watch in a rotation. How will the lack of shock protection impact the watch's daily wearability? Are balance staffs actually hard to come by?
