Thanks so much!
Forty years ago at shows you could pick these
things up without them being on a watch. The
platinum Hamilton buckle would go perfectly
with the Rutledge. It's 1930's and really looks
like a small Patek. Similar, not exact. I've had a
number of them through the years, but sold them.
Now that I see this buckle again, I'd like to find a
Rutledge in very minty condition for myself. And
I have the right box for it. One of the cool things
about this hobby is you never know what will cross
your path tomorrow!

I bought it at a Christie’s auction about eight years ago. The watch is 102 years old and was invoiced to a dealer in Sofia, Bulgaria. It came with archive papers and I happened to be lucky to have a period box.
