Boy yours must be made of steel.
It is sooo easy to slip and scratch the Radiomir case. The clear scotch tape has always been my approach to limiting case scratching. I also don't unscrew the screws all the way for fear of dropping one and it works out pretty good on the refit.
The dark crock (blue I think) with the yellow stitch is a pretty bold move but a great look on the 249. The oem strap that comes with the 249 is real weak (as in not appealing) and lacks depth. The more you look the more you see razor blades. One watch with 10+ straps you can see a trend. Then again I doubt they want you to just change shoes and come back for new watches.
In any case it is a lot of fun personalizing your watch to your mood.
