The Baselworld 2011 report..................
By: Jocke - Bad Santa : March 29th, 2011-03:02
Baselworld 2011 A classic pic at 3:59 when we start the journey. After 2 hours traffic jam in Malmoe, Sweden so will we have Sweden behind us. Over the bridge and into the tunnel to Denmark. After close to 6 hours of driving we hit Copenhagen. A little la...
Honestly, Jocke, I share your point of view.

At the exception of a few Independants creations, I didn't find something here which sings to me... The Tudor Advisor is a cool concept, but a weird design. The new Dayto doesn't show the same elegance, compared to its older sisters. The Explo II is a hea...
Nice pictorial report.

I must be tough to start the journey at 3:59am? The GO door handle is so nice and the GO Navigator WT looks nicer on your live picture. I am a bit disappointed with the novelties from the big manufacturers too but this allows me to focus on a couple that ...

Although if the room is cold, the effect can be rather shocking.

It may be a slow year but there's still plenty to digest and I still have a backlog of must haves. To expect something new & exceptional year after year is unrealistic IMO. This way, it's better for us and the pocketbook in the long run. cheers fernan...

. . . impressed by Moser, Jocke, judging by the attention lavished on them. Could there be one in your future? There may not have been many outstanding introductions this year, but the Senator Seventies and GS 130th Anniversary models have moved to the to...
A superb wrap-up Jocke.

I think that, like most of us, Baselworld 2011 was quite disappointing especially if we analyse the novelties coming from the "big" brands. Hopefully some more active ones and the Independant watchmakers brought fresh air. But I really found the 2011 coll...

Thank you for posting. What do you think about the EXP II after seeing it in person? Somehow the white dial looks much better in picture, although I just noticed the "fat" hour hand after you mentioned it. Btw, is your windscreen cracked? Cheers!
Thanks
