Call me OCD but i polish my car and shoes so why not my straps ? It makes them last at least 1 service interval in rotation but i aim for longer. The IWC UTC is from 1999 and has the Original Buffalo strap on it. The Berna chronograph sports a Santoni str...

A word of warning, though. Some polishes contain distillates that will dissolve the glues used in watch straps! [nt]

I use saddle soap with a small sponge to clean the leather, just like you do with saddlery in miniature. When dry, I apply some leather balm/cream and buff gently. My straps last a long time and the same treatment is applied to old used watch straps if I ...
