... Totally Understand The 'hard pass', but I think we would all agree not every watch appeals to every watch collector. In this case, ten of the fifty are already sold. And of those ten, eight of the collectors drive McLarens - so there's that. I suppose...

...and I am even more inclined to push back just because of the 'drive McLarens' remark. Really? Why does that matter? Just for the record, do you have any financial interest in the company? Your posts look like ads...

The fact that 80% of this watch's buyers drive McLarens is of 0 interest and importance to me. But the statement about it speaks volumes. I am also wondering if Scott has a financial interest in this company, and was going to ask the same question.

Does WILBUR make potential buyers fill out a personal questionnaire? I’m not a fan of companies profiling potential buyers to see if they are “worthy” enough to own the product…..

For what it's worth, I have two Devon watches that I really dig so I will definitely check out Wilbur watches now that I know he was behind the design of the Tread. I had no idea until reading about it here and then on the Wilbur webpage.

The website states "designed in house and made in Switzerland" Made by whom ? How will this be serviceable in the future ? At this price point a bit of transparency is required. I am talking about the movement. I don't like the design (this is subjective ... 

... In house by Jason Wlibur, same guy who designed the Devon Tread. Manufacturing and assembly of the LEO takes place at Concepto in Switzerland. Concepto also manufactures the Jacob & Co timepieces as well as the Bulgari line of Finissimo watches.

Size. In your face. And a nod to Linde Werdelin. If I was 22 or 62, wore a sweats or skinny jeans uniform and owned a in your face car in an in your face colour (perhaps a McClaren) then I’d be all over this. Where I am currently, not really my thing.

I don’t know if I’m really excited or completely terrified at that prospect, LOL!
