Horological Meandering

The predicament I'm in with my current two watch collection, a Moritz Grossmann Tefnut and a Parmigiani Kalpa...As much as I'd like to add a third, I'm having a difficult time imagining that I would get enough enjoyment out of any others to justify the ex...  

And haven't worn some of them for years, so if I add a new one, I'll wear it for a while and then it eventually goes to the unused pile. What's the point?

But I very much enjoy owning them nonetheless, and wearing them infrequently adds to the sense of occasion when I do.

But that is very hard.

Than letting go.

In my case it is the enjoyment I get out of cheaper and more affordable models that has prevented me from splurging on the more expensive models as most often they don't cut it in the real world.

I consolidated from 25ish down to 11. I found I was not wearing watches and the consolidation made a few bigger purchases more feasible. My new criteria are much more strict so I don’t anticipate adding many more in the near future.

I wish I could decrease the number to 30, but that would be a dramatic cut!

But have purchased six in the last year. I try to wear all of them.

Now down to 3, 4th maybe coming.

I find I only really wear my MB&F Sequential, Speedmaster, Sinn u50, and Armin Strom Mirrored Force lately. Nothing else really gets worn. Sometimes I rotate stuff...but I find myself coming back to these four.
