What is the Magic Number? Now I realize that we have done this multiple times before, but let's humor us ourselves once more shall we? 🙃
I say the max number of watches to own should be 12. Enough to own something of about everything, but not so many that wrist time is down to what? One or two days a year? When we take 12 as the number we can wear each watch at least 4 weeks a year (4 weeks only if you think about it), but still have enough variety.

I do not own that many watches, at least not to PuristS standards...., but what I have noticed is, while the number keeps increasing, is that the emotional bond per watch goes down while the numbers go up. Now I'm not advocating that we should not own a lot of watches (!!), we love them too much, but let's play this little game....:
You are allowed to own 12 watches and 12 watches only. Which 12 watches would that be? Please give me your line up. And how many of those 12 are already in your possession?

Firstly, my watch box holds 5 watches. Secondly, that's one for each day of the working week. Add in the weekend and perhaps changing watches during the day if necessary, and you have plenty of wrist time while still variety!
