Man ! It's like you know exactly what I am going through. I am in the same situation, I love watches and read about them all the time but I have yet to buy a serious watch. All the watches I am in love with are out of my range right now, so I feel the same as you do, do I buy a watch that is not what I really want or do I hold off for something better? I still have a long way to go though, my wife and I are expecting our first children in about a month and a half, Twins! So you know how it is they come first. I think you should save for something better and get what you really want, our time will come my friend.

The watch may be discontinued and it becomes "rare" and naturally more expensive. You may need to save and wait for another 15 years. Or, the watch may or may not be discontinued but the used watches flood in the second market, you may just need a fractio...
