Real Time Magazine on Grey Market
Last month I posted some questions about grey market dealers and their source of acquiring limited pieces. Unfortunately the post was locked because 'it doesn't contribute to our enjoyment of collecting watches'. Later I asked the mod to delete it if it wasn't appropriate.
Anyway, the latest Real Time mag published an article about Grey market and fake watches. It answered all the questions i wanted to ask. The writer explained the whole pictures (at least to me) of how the grey market works, their triangle relationships with the AD and the Brands. The risks. The potential criminal activity that may involve... A wonderful article.
