I think the watch you show is rare. It looks like it is before 1970. Maybe a quartz crisis victim. I thought it could be a Sovjet, but i see the word miles on the basel.

Hey thanks for getting back, anything in particular that makes you place it pre 70s? I think the watch has French origin with the 'temps ecoule' tag on the edge of the dial. You've also made me question whether the bezel is an original now as I'm pretty s... 

It is a Jeambrun, made in Maiche close to the Swiss border.

Appreciate the info! Gave me a lot more research ha!. Found some good technical info on the movement here 17jewels.info / Also been able to track a few other watches that have used this movement (Grant, Cornell) again brands I'm not too familiar with....
