I have some free time and Feb is coming....I thought I would take the babies out and set them right.
To me a non-leap year poses a greater challenge to the Perpetual Calendars in the coming month. They are built to perform the 'quantum leap'

Here's a race between an annual and perpetual last year...
No surprise who won The change starts pretty early with the GO, and it only has to advance two days! Feb 31 on the GO, but the Patek is still being lazy. GO is leaving the 31st behind, and the Patek has finally realized something is happening... All done....
Isn't it a little unfair to race 2 different beasts?

The problem is...
...I don't really have occasion to wear dressy watches, so it is hard to justify the expense. I am mostly looking at sportier/casual pieces at the moment! Cheers, Daos
