Quantum Leap
I have some free time and Feb is coming....I thought I would take the babies out and set them right.
To me a non-leap year poses a greater challenge to the Perpetual Calendars in the coming month. They are built to perform the 'quantum leap'

Here's a race between an annual and perpetual last year...

The change starts pretty early with the GO, and it only has to advance two days!
Feb 31 on the GO, but the Patek is still being lazy.
GO is leaving the 31st behind, and the Patek has finally realized something is happening...
All done. Two pokes of the date adjuster for the Patek (with a wooden toothpick, the following morning), and he was going to go til next year.

I have a soft spot...
...for Moser watches, and have always enjoyed their Perpetual 1. Your photo reminds me again of why I was drawn to the watch in the first place. I love its elegant display. Very nice watches both, and I'm probably in the minority, but I prefer the Moser to the Patek.

I wouldn't like to choice, which one would be my favourite!
The problem is...
...I don't really have occasion to wear dressy watches, so it is hard to justify the expense. I am mostly looking at sportier/casual pieces at the moment!

It's Feb..!! The time of the year would normally
