Well, for Number 8 I'm going to skip the obvious choice of wearer at the risk of being wrong (but hey -- the downside is pretty minimal!)
- Thomas Prescher Triple Axis Toubillon
- Tim Jackson
- Love it because of its technical virtousity -- the visual aspects of some of Thomas' watches leave me a bit cold, but it's hard to argue with the execution of the complications
Number 19 is clearly a Vianney Halter Classic on the wrist of Horo (just kidding
). Dolly Cheong? Yeah, I'm fishing... I do like the Classic for its clear articulation of the Steampunk ethos (which other makers seem to be "inventing" these days with their Nemo and other future past offerings), great finishing, bold and crisp visual appearance. A tiny bit smaller in diameter than I would like, but has otherwise really stood the test of time.
Number 21 appears to be a Haldimann H10 on the wrist of Beat Haldimann. I admire it because it has all of the attributes of the H9 at the same price point, but without all of those annoying costs of production!
I'm guessing that #24 is the Dornblueth Regulator on the wrist of Jocke -- I really like this watch because it "jumps" visually with its very clear design, and I also happen to like the matching black/red strap. I like the photo because it is as far from Jocke's great photos as one can get!
I'll leave the rest of the guessing to others! Great thread idea, Don!
Best,
