Horological Meandering

Not a fan.....

For starters to me, these watches do not have any of these key components:

1.  History of manufacture in the field of horology
2.  Quality of the complete package in craftsmanship and refinement; movement, case, dial
3.  Marketing vs. merit

I realize this is my own subjective view, but personally I find these watches similar to a train wreck... hard not to pay some attention but you feel a bit odd about the interest.  I personally can't get over the Titanic marketing and use of "material" from this historic tragedy.  Lives were lost in that ship and it feels wrong to market this name and expect someone to pay money to wear a "piece of history" on one's wrist.  Call me an idealist, but I have a problem with that and therefore the entire line.  I also find the other ideas interesting in an artistic way, but wonder if they are of fleeting novelty.  Just my 2 cents.
