Knowing Manufacture Royale, the finishing of the movement would be first class but it looks like a similar concept to the MB&F LM101 which has a power reserve indicator instead of the seconds hand. And we all know how amazing the finishing is on the LM101 thanks to Kari Voutilainen. I have no idea about the price of the 1770 Voltige but having owned a Manufacture Royale Androgyne, I doubt if the 1770 Voltige will be much cheaper than a LM101 which is in gold. The question then would be one of aesthetics - does one prefer the look of the 1770 Voltige against the LM101? I personally prefer the LM101 due to its finishing and the lacquered dials, raised dome, more wearable 40mm size and printed numerals that give it a classic feel. The LM101 with its marginally longer power reserve than the 1770 Voltige requires in excess of 100 turns to fully wind the watch which is the one drawback worth highlighing. I am not sure how many turns would fully wind the 1770 Voltige but I like to think a lot fewer if my Androgyne was anything to go by (108 hour power reserve and only approximately 80 turns required).
My apologies for comparing this lovely watch to the LM101 but the similarities seemed uncanny.
Great photos by the way, thank you very much.
