Nice watch, faulty concept.
Nice watch but his concept that Polynesians came from America was proven to be false a number of years ago. He was a bit of a huckster and self promoter and couldn’t believe that the Polynesians had the ability to sail into the prevailing winds. The Hawaiians proved him wrong.

The “texture” of the dial is something I really like in this watch. It gives it a more adventurer style which is perfectly in the spirit of this watch. I like the unusual bezel numerals too.

Patina turned the dial from black to dark chocolate... Only "down-side" would be the size, 35-36mm which is considered to be on the smaller side for a divers watch today! But I don't mind the size here. Best Blomman
