Nice watch!

Just over a month ago, I went to my local Breitling boutique to drop off a watch for service. They had both a steel and a gold version available for sale. After thinking for a couple days about whether or not to pull the trigger on the steel piece, I decided to go ahead. The Breitling USA website showed the steel version available for purchase online, and since the one they had at the boutique showed a little wear on the strap from people trying it on, I asked whether they could swap it with a new untouched piece which they were able to order and received the next day.

It’s a great looking Navitimer, much nicer than the modern day
version in my opinion. I actually much prefer the black on black counters on the 806 than the white on black models. Although I was also considering the gold version which is limited to 59 pieces and is more exclusive, the white counters spoiled it for me, not just because I find the black on black nicer, but the steel version is also more true to the original version.
